New Year's Eve

It's been a super duper long time since I wrote in my blog.*sheepish smile*
My boyfriend is out of town.... to Bangkok actually.. part leisure part business aka 'corporate retreat'. *jealous*

I'm at home, chilling and reflecting on everything that's happened in 2007.
Challenging but fruitful year.
Do hope 2008 will be a better better one.

Reflections

As I get older, the more I wonder about the life we lead. Concepts, values, cultures... I seem to be breaking them down. Humanity, materialism and social status. Blah blah. What's in your heart? Happiness comes from where? Little things I discover about myself. (Yes, I am blabbering away)
Eating at Maxwell one day for dinner. A little boy came over to sell me tissues, I obliged. I think he is so poor thing. Minutes after, an old man came over and I said no to him even though he seems rather desperate. At first, I thought it was ok, then I felt bad. he's so poor thing too.
But who's to feel for me in times of need?
I want to save the world, yet I sometimes feel stuck in my learned social behaviors that are more self centred.
my heart feels tight these days. look on the bright side. yes yes, but reality is still reality...
accept there are bad things in life, walk away from bad people.
appreciate whatever little good things that come by in ur life.
it's back to work for me.
